General Helper Forge- 2nd shift

About The Position
Entry-level position in the Forge Department starting from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. This job classification can promote to Forge Machine Operator, Metal Parts Finisher, Production Saw Operator, or other machine operator position.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to read production instructions in English.
- Must be able to stand up to three hours at a time and during an 8-10 hours shift.
- Must be able to sit, bend, twist, stoop, reach overhead.
- Uses hands to grind metal parts.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a heated environment.
Responsibilities
- Count Parts.
- Clean work areas.
- Grind Metal parts.
- Load/ unload sand blaster
- Operate furnace (load/ unload).
