Requirements

Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
Good command of the English language.
Ability to read and interpret work orders for processing.
Ability to use simple math and basic hand-held measuring tools.
Ability to lift or maneuver rolls of tape in excess of 50+lbs.
Regularly required to stand, reach and move about the facility.

Responsibilities

Ensure the efficient and safe operation of a slitting machine according to established training criteria.
Follow directions on work orders and translate data into proper settings and procedures.
Check output against specifications on work orders and perform visual inspection of goods produced.
Recognize non-conforming goods and inform the Quality Assurance Manager.
Report any process and equipment problems to upper management and/or the Maintenance Supervisor.
Ensure established policies, rules, regulations, and procedures are followed.
Be responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area, and meeting production quality and quantity standards.
Adhere to production schedules as set by the Production Planner and VP of Operations.
Effectively utilize required systems, including HQMS and Sage 500 ERP/DSCS.
Ensure established safety protocol is followed.
