About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Must be Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid Certified.
• Team-oriented mentality
• Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Pre-certified candidates are preferred.
• Employees are eligible for cost compensation for their required lifeguard course at the end of work term.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest safety and protect lives.
• Provide superior guest service as a swim lesson instructor and pool shop attendant.
• Guard the pool area.
• Assist guests.
• Answer questions regarding recreation activities.
• Perform general pool maintenance.
• Keep the pool area clean.
• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility.
• Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Ensure guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool.
• All other duties, as assigned.
