About The Position
The YMCA is seeking individuals age 15 and older to work as lifeguards in its Wellness Centers. Lifeguards help keep pool participants and members safe while building communication, leadership, and responsibility skills. This is a seasonal, part-time, hourly position in Warminster, Pennsylvania, paying $13.50–$18.50 per hour. Flexible scheduling is offered, including opening shifts.
Requirements
- Be at least 15 years old.
- Have American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or the ability to pass the course.
- Have a passion for water safety and strong swimming skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and surveillance of all pool participants and members in the Wellness Centers.
- Understand and apply organizational safety procedures for the pool deck, aquatic areas, and wellness areas.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the pool deck, including skimming and brushing, and of the wellness centers.
