Biology Lab Manager

About The Position
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for learning and implementing OSHA safety standards in biology lab settings. Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Workspace is essential, along with an understanding of the general operations of a biology lab.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Ability to learn and carry out implementation of OSHA safety standards in biology lab settings.
- Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google workspace.
- Understanding of general working operations of biology lab setting.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Good understanding of the diverse fields within biology and knowledge of where to locate order and operate supplies relevant to those fields.
- Exposure to and understanding of OSHA safety standards
- Supervisory experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and other standard office software
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with digital record keeping and/or inventory management systems
