The Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Department at Banner Estrella performs inpatient/outpatient diagnostic and interventional coronary, peripheral and Electrophysiology procedures along with a myriad of IR procedures. The facility currently offers 4 interventional suites utilized for both Cath and IR procedures. The team of nurses and radiology technologists at Banner Estrella work equally in both service lines. The Associate Manager is an integral part of the leadership team and is responsible for many duties in the Cath lab and IR including circulating, monitoring, and documenting the case. Under the direction of the physician, the Manager is responsible for procedural sedation and maintaining patient safety during the procedure. Our amazing leaders continually provide leadership in clinical, financial, and personnel as well as active participation in department shared leadership and facility wide committees. Schedule: Full time, 4 10hr shifts Mon-Fri; some availability outside of working hours may be required. Location: Banner Estrella Medical Center, (9201 W Thomas Rd) Ideal Candidate: Will be an RN or Radiology Tech with experience in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology. POSITION SUMMARY This position provides operational, financial, managerial and/or clinical support within the department. Supervises and participates in selection, orientation, counseling and evaluation of staff. May perform prescribed procedures as directed by following department/facility policies, procedures and protocol. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.
