About The Position

As a Cook at Grand Vista Hotel, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by preparing high-quality meals in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for ensuring that all food preparation meets the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and presentation. This role requires close collaboration with the kitchen team, including the Head Chef, to maintain smooth kitchen operations and uphold our culinary standards. You will contribute to menu execution, assist in inventory management, and help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Ultimately, your work will directly impact guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our food service offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes, safety instructions, and communicate with team members.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food preparation skills.
  • Physical abilities like climbing stairs and moving objects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working under the supervision of a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership environment.
