About The Position

Requirements

• At least 6 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, JDBC, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience building applications using SOAP/REST web services and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven or messaging architectures.
• Experience with Struts, Spring MVC, and ESB technologies such as Camel or Fuse.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols including OAuth2, SAML, and OpenID.
• Experience developing front-end components with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern frameworks.
• Experience with repositories and DevOps tools such as Git, SVN, Maven, Bamboo, and Jenkins.
• Ability to write optimized Oracle SQL queries.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and learn new technologies quickly.
• Knowledge of system design, architecture, and security best practices.
• Ability to work with distributed teams and manage priorities independently.
• At least 3 years of U.S.-based experience.
• At least 10 years of overall industry experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Azure configurations.
• Familiarity with AWS, Hibernate, and Spring Batch.
• Experience with Airflow or similar data processing tools.
• Experience in healthcare, Medicaid, claims, pharmacy benefits, or insurance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java-based applications and microservices.
• Build scalable solutions for high-performance transaction systems.
• Develop and support event-driven applications and integrations using Apache Kafka.
• Participate in Agile planning, estimation, and design sessions.
• Partner with product and project teams to provide technical estimates and updates.
• Troubleshoot complex production and system issues.
• Drive development tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Work with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Report critical issues clearly and proactively.
• Support system architecture and perform hands-on development as needed.
• Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices.
