About The Position

Digital Initiatives is seeking a student employee for the semester. This position is to begin as soon as agreed upon for the semester and end on a determined basis. No more than 20 hours per week is allowed for all combined student positions. Pay Rate: $15.00/hour. Hours of Operation: 9am – 5pm, Monday-Friday. Expected Work Hours Total: 6-10 hours/week. Location: Howard-Tilton Memorial Library, 6th Floor. Training will be provided for all tasks.

Requirements

  • Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Interest in libraries, archives, digital collections, or cultural heritage materials
  • Comfortable learning new technologies, software, and digital workflows through training
  • Please submit a cover letter with information about work-study funding for the upcoming / current year and about your experience with any of the job duties listed.
  • Also please submit a screenshot of your class schedule from classschedule.tulane.edu and a screenshot of your work-study acceptance and amount from Gibson.
