About The Position

Requirements

• Experience in the inspection and testing of various construction disciplines like concrete, soils, welding, or maintenance of traffic.
• Experience in the construction industry with completion of at least one internship with a heavy civil, foundation, or steel erection contractor or equivalent work experience.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technicians - Grade I with 5 years of experience.
• ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician - Grade I with 5 years of experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector Certificate.
• ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to new challenges.
• Must be willing and able to travel or relocate as necessary for projects.
• Must be willing to work day or night shift pending on the project needs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality control field testing and documentation, including a variety of construction disciplines like concrete, soils, welding, or maintenance of traffic.
• Active involvement in project safety programs.
• Assists project QC staff and project supervision.
• Works toward obtaining testing certifications.
• Effectively communicates with the project owner(s).
• Represent the company with the owner's inspectors.
• Travels to jobsites as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
