About The Position

We are hiring a CMM Inspector Technician to join our quality team on-site. If you're precise, detail-driven, and experienced with Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software, we want to hear from you. This role involves inspecting machined castings and components, reading and applying GD&T, performing various inspections, analyzing SPC data, and maintaining CMM calibration and the inspection lab.

Requirements

• AA degree or trade school training in quality/metrology, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years programming and operating Zeiss CMMs (Calypso) in a close-tolerance environment
• Strong blueprint reading and advanced GD&T skills
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and SPC fundamentals

Nice To Haves

• Experience with 5-axis milled parts and close-tolerance castings
• Calypso CAD-based/parametric programming
• Fixture design or build experience

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined castings and components using Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software
• Read and apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) to evaluate part conformance
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Analyze SPC data (Cpk/Ppk) and flag process drift
• Maintain CMM calibration and a clean, organized inspection lab (5S)
