About The Position

This role uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies, or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds. The inspector will use various measuring devices, and will accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Work is performed from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawings, or inspection instructions and checklists. The role may also monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures and performs line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
2 years additional education and/or related experience
Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 1 year of related experience
May require certification
Demonstrated basic computer skills
Able to read a blueprint

Ability to perform stooping, bending, crawling, and climbing when required

Responsibilities
