About The Position

Requirements

• Construction experience with practical knowledge of residential building systems.
• Proficiency with HVAC and basic electrical systems and the ability to evaluate common defects and safety issues.
• Home Inspector certification or license, or active pursuit of certification/licensure.
• Strong customer service skills and a sales-minded approach to recommending services and follow-up.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working independently in the field and managing a schedule of inspections.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home inspections, real estate, construction trades, or related fields.
• Experience using inspection software and basic computer skills (email, photo editing, reporting).
• Background in sales, client acquisition, or territory development.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections of residential properties, including structural elements, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
• Interact frequently with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents, ensuring professional and friendly communication.
• Utilize company inspection software to create clear, photo-supported reports.
• Deliver inspection reports within expected turnaround times.
• Grow business through professional service and referral development.
