Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of Iowa
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- Mandatory Reporter Certification (Child & Dependent Adult Abuse)

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive oral health assessments and periodontal evaluations
- Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealants, and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and healthy habits
- Build trusting relationships that encourage lifelong oral health
- Collaborate with dentists, medical providers, behavioral health professionals, and care teams to support whole-person care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support infection prevention and patient safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach opportunities
