About The Position

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Lead Installer or Senior Install Technician.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Proficient in brazing, soldering, and refrigerant line testing.
• Ability to measure, fabricate, and install ductwork accurately.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills to guide customers and helper technicians.
• Strong time management skills with a proven track record of meeting daily turnover deadlines.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and step stools regularly.
• Ability to work in confined/dark spaces (attics, crawl spaces) and varying temperatures (extreme heat/cold, indoor/outdoor).
• Ability to drive up to 75% of the workday between customer locations.
• Ability to operate mobile phones, tablets, and field management software.

Nice To Haves

• EPA Universal Certification or NATE Certification preferred.
• Strong proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and custom fitting adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and commercial HVAC equipment installations, replacements, and retrofits.
• Interact directly with customers to assess job specs, explain installation processes, and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
• Install complete systems to code, ensuring all newly installed equipment operates at peak efficiency.
• Execute standard processes for installing, configuring, and replacing HVAC units, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and air conditioners.
• Install round and rectangular ductwork, sheet metal fittings, and equipment accessories.
• Maintain a clean work environment using protective measures (drop cloths, shoe covers) to keep customer property undamaged.
• Perform brazing, line set testing, platform building, and simple low-voltage electrical connections.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and local building codes.
