About The Position

Eaton’s EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking an HR Manager. This role is onsite at our Amarillo, TX facility. Built in 1981, the Amarillo facility, with approximately 150 team members, is a thriving iron foundry that serves our customers with a variety of parts, including conduits, covers and fittings. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. This role will identify, develop and deploy business driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain key people while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization that is capable of achieving the site objectives and action plans. Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to employee relations, staffing, culture, engagement and building organizational capabilities. The Senior Human Resource Manager is an integral part of the site leadership team. The role will report directly to the Plant Manager in Amarillo and has one (1) direct report.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five (5) years of professional human resources and/or employee relations experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in business or human resources from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Professional HR Certification, i.e. PHR or SPHR.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner and advisor to Amarillo, TX operations leadership.
  • Drive HR functional excellence through Eaton programs, Eaton Business System alignment, process standardization and best-practice sharing.
  • Develop, implement and maintain compliant HR policies, practices, records, and operating review processes.
  • Oversee staffing, talent management, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee development.
  • Guide performance management, leadership coaching, employee engagement, recognition and retention efforts.
  • Lead employee relations across hourly and salaried populations, including investigations, corrective action, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and employee engagement support.
  • Administer compensation practices and generate reports for regulatory, budgeting and auditing purposes.
  • Promote safety, security, wellness, community involvement and I&D initiatives, including MESH and Zero Incident Safety Culture efforts.
