About The Position
WM is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator III for a stable position with benefits that provide financial security. The Heavy Equipment Operator III will work at one of WM's recycling facilities, operating heavy equipment like bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders. This role is vital to the company's operations and requires a high level of skill and determination. Waste disposal sites have strict safety procedures in place.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities
- Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
- Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records.
- Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
- Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
