About The Position
Propel Schools is seeking a Head Varsity Flag Football Coach for the 26-27 season. This role will be responsible for coaching at Propel Braddock Hills High School, Propel Andrew St. High School, and Propel Montour High School. The season is scheduled to begin in March and conclude in April, with potential for postseason play. The position includes a seasonal stipend of $2,000, which will be prorated for coaches starting after the official season start date.
Requirements
- Prior flag football or football coaching experience
- Effective coaching technique and skills
- Knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Up-to-date TB Test
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance
- Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
Nice To Haves
- Student-athlete experience on the high school and/or intercollegiate level
- Prior flag football coaching experience
Responsibilities
- Assembling coaching staff
- Implementing off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations
- Attending all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings
- Participating in mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations
- Participating in ongoing professional development
- Upholding the Propel Habits
