Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, building contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor lobby areas, restricted spaces, and/or visitor traffic while following post orders, verifying credentials when required, and documenting observations, incidents, and/or escalations.
- Support daily operations by assisting with alarms, access control activity, and/or after-hours checks, while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal standards and site policies.
