About The Position
The Student Assistant at Bruno Business Library is primarily responsible for staffing the front desk and providing customer service. This role involves assisting patrons in locating resources, checking materials in and out, and shelving books. The assistant will also perform other basic library tasks as needed to support daily operations.
Requirements
- Current undergraduate student at The University of Alabama
- Excellent customer service skills
- Punctual, reliable, and detail oriented
- Must be able to work nights and weekends during Summer 2026 terms
- Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours during fall/spring semesters (Undergraduate Students)
- Must be registered for at least 4.5 credit hours during fall/spring semesters (Graduate Students)
- Must be registered full-time (Undergraduate = 12 credit hours, Graduate = 9 credit hours) during fall/spring semesters (International Students)
- Enrollment requirements must be maintained for the duration of on-campus employment
