About The Position
Regions Hospital is seeking a candidate with a positive and cheerful attitude to join our team in Food & Nutrition! We are looking for honest, hardworking individuals who are driven to help others. The Food Service Worker – Food Assembly position will use a Best Care Best Experience approach to perform routine food service tasks in the kitchen, cafeteria, catering, dining room, dish room and patient areas. This role will specialize in preparing and assembling food tray orders to patients and sanitizing dishes, utensils and their work area while promoting a safe environment and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Customer service and food service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine food service tasks in the kitchen, cafeteria, catering, dining room, dish room and patient areas.
- Prepare and assemble food tray orders to patients.
- Sanitize dishes, utensils and their work area.
- Promote a safe environment and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines.
