We are seeking talented Food Service Workers to join our AMAZING Team at Somerset Area School District. Enjoy a work/life balance with a Monday through Friday daylight position that follows the school calendar. We have full and part-time positions available with tons of room for growth. Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for Rock Star Culinary and Hospitality Team Members who shares our passion for Food and Service. Requirements
- Experience desired but we are willing to train candidates with a passion for food and understands the basics
- Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
- Be willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed
- Hospitality-driven
- Able to work and thrive in a team environment
- Brings a SMILE and strong work ethic to the TEAM
Nice To Haves
- Hospitality experience is desired
Responsibilities
- Plating, set up and tear down of café, restaurant, retail areas, or assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation.
- Prepare and present DELICIOUS meals and IMPRESSIVE presentations following our Executive Chef Menus.
- Ability to inventory and portion ingredients.
- Create, transport, setup, serve and breakdown banquet-style food displays with amazing hospitality and guest experience focus.
- Jump in where needed in a busy K-12 kitchen and dining café setting.
