About The Position
We are seeking talented Food Service Workers to join our AMAZING Team at Somerset Area School District. Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for Rock Star Culinary and Hospitality Team Members who shares our passion for Food and Service. We are seeking team members for full and part-time roles in a busy K-12 School Cafe setting. This is a great opportunity for Culinary Grads! In a hospitality driven, multi dining outlet setting, you will perform duties to include plating, set up and tear down of café, restaurant, retail areas, or assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation. Must bring a strong work ethic, a SMILE and enjoy working in a TEAM environment.
Requirements
- Experience desired but we are willing to train candidates with a passion for food and understands the basics
- Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
- Be willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed
- Hospitality-driven
- Able to work and thrive in a team environment
- Brings a SMILE and strong work ethic to the TEAM

Responsibilities
- Plating, set up and tear down of café, restaurant, retail areas
- Assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation
- Prepare and present delicious meals and impressive presentations following our Executive Chef Menus
- Inventory and portion ingredients
- Create, transport, setup, serve and breakdown banquet-style food displays with amazing hospitality and guest experience focus
- Perform duties to include plating, set up and tear down of café, retail areas, or assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation
