About The Position

This is NOT a desk job. We're looking for someone who loves being out in the field, talking to people, building relationships, and finding talent that nobody else can. At AutoShop Recruiting & Auto Hospitality Group, we specialize exclusively in recruiting for the automotive repair industry across the United States. Our clients hire some of the best technicians, service advisors, service managers, and automotive leaders in the business—but the best candidates aren't applying online. They're in shops, working every day. Your job is to go find them.

Responsibilities

  • Visiting independent repair shops and dealerships throughout the Houston area
  • Building relationships with technicians, advisors, and shop managers
  • Introducing AutoShop Recruiting to potential candidates
  • Stopping by auto parts stores, tool trucks, and industry suppliers where technicians gather
  • Conducting discreet market research and mystery shopping
  • Learning which shops have the best talent and strongest reputations
  • Identifying shops that may be struggling or losing employees
  • Networking at automotive events and industry gatherings
  • Creating grassroots recruiting opportunities wherever automotive professionals spend their time
  • Following up with candidates you've met and introducing them to career opportunities
  • Making follow-up calls, entering notes into our recruiting system, and coordinating interviews
