About The Position
As the Manager of Event Transport Operations, you will be the key operational leader responsible for the day-to-day management of transport services. You'll ensure the smooth execution of event transport plans and provide on-site leadership to maintain service reliability.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
- 3-5+ years of experience in major international events, transportation, logistics, or event management, with a proven ability to lead on-site teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily transport operations for assigned client groups at competition and non-competition venues.
- Implement service schedules, routing, and vehicle allocations to meet all operational requirements.
- Supervise and guide the on-site transport workforce, providing them with the direction and support needed for success.
- Support the operations control center by assisting with monitoring, reporting, and real-time issue resolution.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to transport operations.
- Assist with post-event reporting and documentation of lessons learned.
- Ensure all daily operations are in full compliance with safety, accessibility, and service delivery standards.
