About The Position

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently. Your work will directly support the parts used to build Wanner pumps, which serve critical industries including water, sanitation, food production, oil and gas, and more. This is an experienced-level, non-exempt position with hands-on training provided.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC machines and production equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical diagrams, prints, and schematics.
  • Working knowledge of machining, metrology, and basic test equipment.
  • General facility maintenance experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Reliable, predictable attendance.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training on multiple CNC machine types preferred.
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 environment is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and machine service work based on work orders and project needs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on production equipment.
  • Support and help manage Wanner Engineering’s preventative maintenance program.
  • Install, adjust, disassemble, replace, reassemble, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Source parts, coordinate with vendors or contractors, and support cost-effective repair solutions.
  • Fabricate or modify hardware for repairs when needed.
  • Assist with facility maintenance and cross-functional projects as needed.
  • Work safely, maintain a clean work area, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
