About The Position

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• CPR BLS through American Heart Association
• Must satisfactorily complete a planned orientation program at Swedish Covenant Hospital
• Good communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with others
• Ability to observe and report accurately
• Technical ability for handling specialized instrumentation and equipment
• Ability to handle confidentiality appropriately

Nice To Haves

• One year of hospital experience or equivalent experience preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Surgical Technician preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists with providing nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the Outpatient Surgery Department.
• Performs processing of instruments and equipment in OPS to assure prompt and safe re-use.
