About The Position
This position is responsible for the repair, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within the facilities. The technician will work with various voltage levels and electrical components, interpret blueprints, and perform related carpentry and plastering tasks. The role also involves assisting other facilities staff and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School graduate.
- Two years of experience as electrician’s assistant or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Code.
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Two years variable electrical apprenticeship work.
Responsibilities
- Repair, install, and maintain electrical wiring, circuits, machinery, appliances, and equipment.
- Repair incandescent and fluorescent lights, receptacles, and switches with working knowledge for 110/208/480 volts, 3 phase.
- Read, interpret, and update electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams. Report effects on load and balance to supervisor/manager.
- Perform minor carpentry and plastering in connection with electrical work.
- Assist facilities staff and functions as required. Complies with all casino and facilities policies and procedures.
- Able to use hand and power tools in general electrical repair and installation work.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
