About The Position

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with containerization, building images, and orchestrating deployments in Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps tools and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code environments, including automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing.
• Experience managing tools deployed with Helm.
• Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions.
• Knowledge of container security technologies and evaluating and mitigating or resolving vulnerability findings.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience.
• Experience scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby.
• Experience with system integration using protocols such as JSON, REST, and XML.
• Experience leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration.
• Experience with the OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model or DevSecOps Maturity Model.
• Cloud certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Google Certified Professional – Cloud Architect, or MCSE – Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and secure container platforms and container management software.
• Build container images and orchestrate deployments in Kubernetes.
• Support platform strategy and design, ensuring standards are followed throughout the containerization process.
• Recommend resources for securely managing and adopting containers.
• Support development and improvement of critical cloud platforms.
• Evaluate container vulnerabilities and help mitigate or resolve findings.
