About The Position

SageCor Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support customers using its Kubernetes-based platform and help build and maintain a DevSecOps pipeline with open-source technologies. The role uses Infrastructure-as-Code to automate configuration management and infrastructure provisioning. It also involves partnering with application development teams across the software development life cycle to create solutions to complex problems in a collaborative environment. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 4+ years of experience developing tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity, including building and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform or Terragrunt.
• 4+ years of experience developing, deploying, and managing cloud applications, including AWS.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
• 2+ years of experience deploying and managing applications within Kubernetes.
• Experience developing multi-tenant enterprise cloud-native solutions.
• Experience working with application development teams across the software development life cycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of DevOps experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within 6 months of the start date.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with scripting or object-oriented programming in Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang.
• Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Rancher, and RKE2.
• Experience using or managing ArgoCD, Grafana, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Jenkins or GitLab Runners.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer certification.
• Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support to customers using a Kubernetes-based platform, including troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues.
• Respond to support requests via calls and chat.
• Guide customers through onboarding, deployment, and application development workflows.
• Support the building and maintenance of a DevSecOps pipeline using open-source technologies.
• Use Infrastructure-as-Code to automate configuration management and infrastructure provisioning.
