About The Position

Mosaic Health has an immediate opening for a Dental Assistant to provide quality dental care services. The role includes supporting patients throughout their visit, preparing them for dental examinations, explaining proposed treatment, performing assigned chair-side or float duties, and sterilizing and disinfecting patient rooms.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Completion of a dental assisting program.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in four-handed dentistry is preferred.
  • A current New York State license to practice as a Certified Dental Assistant is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate patient comfort from greeting through exit.
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations.
  • Explain proposed treatment to patients.
  • Perform chair-side or float duties as assigned.
  • Sterilize and disinfect patient rooms.
