About The Position

Pediatric Dental Group in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients. The role includes documenting patient records, obtaining dental radiographs, maintaining accurate chart notes, building relationships with patients and parents, and supporting patient education on oral health. The Dental Assistant also sterilizes instruments and workstations and helps keep the practice clean and presentable. Other duties may be assigned to support the business and its mission of providing dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Requirements

Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly, outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents.
Ability to multitask and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
Current BLS CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW).
Previous experience working in a dental office.

Responsibilities

Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records.
Obtain dental radiographs, including periapicals, bitewings, and panoramic images, as requested by the dentist.
Write accurate and consistent notes and ensure chart notes match services completed.
Build friendly relationships with patients and parents and educate them on good oral health.
Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations according to OSHA standards.
Keep the practice clean and presentable, including cleaning restrooms and the patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
Perform other duties that support the business and its mission of providing high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
