About The Position
Dental Dreams is hiring a licensed Dental Assistant for its New Bedford, Massachusetts office. The Dental Assistant provides chairside and administrative support, working under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist. The role calls for a caring, customer-focused, organized team player with strong attention to detail. An active Massachusetts Dental Assistant License is required or must be in progress of obtaining, along with radiology certification and customer service experience. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Dental Assistant License, or currently in progress of obtaining one.
- Radiology certification.
- Customer service experience.

Responsibilities
- Work under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist.
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental examinations and treatment.
- Chart during dental examinations.
- Take and process X-rays.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and the sterilization area.
- Set up and break down operatories.
- Assist with supply inventory and ordering.
- Maintain a clean and professional office environment.
- Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Work as part of a team, emphasizing communication.
