About The Position

Requirements

Active Dental Assistant license in Massachusetts.
Dental Radiology Certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job training.
Current CPR certification.
Demonstrated knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection-control protocols.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing and passing instruments and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize and organize instruments and equipment according to infection-control standards.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and accurately documenting treatment details.
Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions.
Comply with health and safety regulations, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with staff to support clinic operations.
Educate patients about oral-hygiene practices and answer questions to promote dental-health awareness.
