At US FOODS® , our CDL-A Delivery Truck Drivers start with a training base rate of $33.43 per hour . After training, compensation transitions to component pay based on miles, cases, and stops, with hourly pay provided for any downtime. We are seeking Delivery Truck Drivers who are eager to challenge themselves, grow their careers, and enjoy the benefits of being part of the US FOODS® family.

Requirements

  • Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum six months commercial driving experience (one year of foodservice experience preferred).
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
  • Ability to read and communicate in English—able to understand traffic signs, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports and records.
  • Registering with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a DOT requirement. All drivers must visit https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/register and complete registration. The Clearinghouse is a secure online database providing real-time information about CDL holders’ drug and alcohol program violations.

  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Responsibilities
