About The Position
H&C Pizza LLC, an independent Domino’s franchisee, is hiring an E Bike Delivery Driver for its Miramar Beach, Florida location. The role delivers orders within a designated area and also helps with in-store pizza preparation, food prep, and cleaning. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression to management. Orientation and training are provided on the job. Team members may perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Delivery work can involve navigating stairs, multiple-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying food and beverages. The job includes indoor and outdoor work and exposure to varying temperatures, weather, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- Must be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, including by telephone.
- Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and make correct monetary change.
- Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, and meet quality standards.
- Must be able to carry out the physical demands described, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and carrying food during deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and to customers’ doors.
- Help in the store with pizza making, food preparation, and cleaning.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate delivery routes and locations, including stairs and other challenging terrain.
