About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least six months of experience in a healthcare, hotel, motel, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across disciplines and departments.
• Reliability and flexibility for weekend rotations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Employment is contingent on successful Live Scan fingerprinting, background-check clearance, and verification of required licenses, certifications, and education.
• Satisfactory completion of professional reference checks.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or a hospital setting; role-specific equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, or another language commonly spoken by the patient population.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, strip, wax, and shampoo floors and other floor surfaces.
• Clean and dust furniture, closets, telephones, and vents; scour, polish, and sanitize sinks, counters, stainless surfaces, and waste receptacles.
• Empty waste receptacles and clean solid-waste containers.
• Wash windows and walls; remove draperies, rugs, and other bulky items as needed.
• Move and arrange furniture for cleaning or presentation purposes.
• Report defective furniture and equipment requiring repairs to the Supervisor.
• Keep essential equipment and utility closets clean and orderly.
• Perform tasks using appropriate infection-control techniques.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
