About The Position

As Senior Finance Manager, you’ll oversee core financial operations and provide guidance to ensure fiscal responsibility, transparency, and operational excellence. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA strongly preferred)
- 5–7+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, fund accounting, and nonprofit compliance
- Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey financial information clearly
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in nonprofit or faith-based organizations a plus
- Sage Intacct experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Implement and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and nonprofit reporting standards
- Coordinate annual audits and assist with implementing recommendations
- Prepare cash flow projections and support financial forecasting
- Supervise and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and mission-driven culture
- Maintain and optimize financial systems and technology (Sage Intacct experience preferred)
- Present financial insights to leadership and support board reporting
