About The Position

Our client, a national advisory firm to identify a Director of Outsourced Accounting to join a growing nonprofit practice. This role will oversee a portfolio of nonprofit client relationships, guiding both recurring close cycles and project-based advisory work. The Director will act as a senior point of contact for clients, ensure high-quality delivery across engagements, and help teams operate efficiently while meeting timelines and budget expectations. A major focus of the role is developing managers and senior team members, supporting staffing decisions, and improving how work is delivered through thoughtful use of systems and process enhancements. The ideal profile is a CPA with 10+ years of experience supporting nonprofit organizations, ideally from an outsourced accounting, consulting, or public accounting environment. Strong leadership skills, comfort managing multiple engagements, and the ability to communicate clearly with both clients and internal teams are essential. Requirements
