Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on business taxation
- CPA (or CPA eligible) with a strong technical command of federal and state business tax regulations
- Comfortable leading engagements and delivering strategic, proactive client service
- Excellent project and team leadership skills with a mentorship mindset
- Highly collaborative, communicative, and driven by curiosity
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support the development of junior team members
- Committed to high-quality work and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advisor on complex business tax engagements across a wide range of industries
- Guide and mentor a team of staff and seniors, fostering development and technical growth
- Review and oversee preparation of business tax returns with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and client impact
- Interpret and apply tax legislation to deliver proactive, strategic advice to clients
- Collaborate with firm leadership to support business development and relationship management
- Identify tax planning opportunities and consult on complex client transactions
- Drive process improvements and ensure engagements are delivered efficiently and on time
