Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on business taxation
  • CPA (or CPA eligible) with a strong technical command of federal and state business tax regulations
  • Comfortable leading engagements and delivering strategic, proactive client service
  • Excellent project and team leadership skills with a mentorship mindset
  • Highly collaborative, communicative, and driven by curiosity
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support the development of junior team members
  • Committed to high-quality work and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary advisor on complex business tax engagements across a wide range of industries
  • Guide and mentor a team of staff and seniors, fostering development and technical growth
  • Review and oversee preparation of business tax returns with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and client impact
  • Interpret and apply tax legislation to deliver proactive, strategic advice to clients
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to support business development and relationship management
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and consult on complex client transactions
  • Drive process improvements and ensure engagements are delivered efficiently and on time
