About The Position

Requirements

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related human services field (a related human services field is one in which major coursework includes the study of human behavior and development).
• At least two (2) years’ experience working with individuals who have mental health, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
• Must be able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance use and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families.
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
• A Level II background screening is required.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an internship at Lakeview Center, Inc. through an accredited counseling/social work program can be substituted for the two years of post-graduate experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive outpatient treatment to adults in a virtual and in-person setting.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in providing therapeutic services.
• Ensure services are provided and documented in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Lakeview Center standards.
• Serve as a lead position in the provision of direct care, under the supervision of a licensed team member.
• Provide assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, family services, person centered services, and management of person served risk and safety.
