About The Position

Requirements

• Have experience in IT support (1-3 years), be able to identify problems (troubleshooting) of computer equipment, applications, networking, telephony and make the necessary repairs
• Knowledge of creating and managing accounts, user access and security in Active Directory
• Knowledge of GPO, WSUS and PowerShell
• Knowledge of management and creation of email accounts in Microsoft Exchange
• Microsoft Windows 7/10
• Microsoft Office 2013, Office 365
• Microsoft Server 2012, 2016 and 2019
• Knowing how to plan and prioritize the various mandates / tasks, be structured and carry out quality work
• Have a good analytical sense, good judgment and be autonomous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment (ISO / CGMP) with tight deadlines
• Be customer-oriented (Good interpersonal skills, Excellent communication skills and good listening skills)
• Available to travel occasionally in the province of Quebec (Val des Sources, Estrie)
• Team spirit and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal users (level 1) (various offices in St-Hubert and Val-des-Sources in Estrie) in person or by remote intervention
• Qualify computers and software using protocols to validate their proper functioning before deployment in operation.
• Prepare workstations for replacement or the arrival of new employees
• Help users who work remotely by VPN
• Ensure the inventory of computer equipment
• Proactively identify process improvements
• Develop and document the procedures for the infrastructure components under its responsibility
• Provide support during and outside normal hours (if applicable, really occasional) and opportunities to work evenings and weekends during deployments
• Track and process user requests by documenting incidents in the ticket system
• Install, configure and ensure proper operation of various computer equipment such as computers, tablets, MFP printers, IP telephony, cell phones and all other electronic devices required by users
• Perform any other related tasks deemed relevant (by his immediate superior) as part of the IT technician position
