About The Position

The Community Health Screener is a PRN position that provides wellness services and education within the community. This includes services such as seasonal flu vaccinations, fingerstick screenings, and other screenings like Blood Pressure, Hearing, and Body Mass Index. This position may require evening or weekend availability, and screenings may occasionally take place outdoors.

Requirements

  • Current Ohio RN or LPN License.
  • Must be able to lift 10+ pounds without restriction.
  • Must possess a reliable form of transportation and driver’s license in good standing.
  • Basic computer knowledge and regular access to an internet-connected electronic device such as a computer is required.
  • Must successfully complete 90-day probationary period.

Nice To Haves

  • Current American Heart CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide wellness services and education within the community.
  • Administer seasonal flu vaccinations.
  • Perform fingerstick screenings.
  • Conduct other screenings including Blood Pressure, Hearing, and Body Mass Index.
