About The Position

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing or a related field.
• Valid fall protection certification.
• Valid scissor lift certification.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Proficient knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters, according to building codes and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts and required materials.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential plumbing issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other construction professionals to coordinate plumbing work within larger projects.
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing situations to minimize disruption to business operations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to cut, thread, and join pipes and fittings.
