Commercial Install Plumber
About The Position
Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Commercial Install Plumber for its Rochester location. The role involves working with installation teams at commercial project sites to install plumbing systems, equipment, piping, and underground systems in accordance with company requirements, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards. The plumber will provide as-built drawings, participate in equipment start-ups, maintain company tools, and coordinate with Project Managers and Field Supervisors to meet project schedules and client needs. Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning has served homeowners and businesses in Upstate and Central New York for over 75 years. It is one of the nation's largest privately held HVAC/R contractors and serves over 35,000 clients annually. The company partners with HVAC and plumbing companies throughout the United States, providing the support and resources of a large national company.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of plumbing experience.
- OSHA 10 certification is required upon hire.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Background in commercial and/or new construction plumbing, with proficiency in repairs and maintenance tasks and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Work with install teams to complete installation of plumbing systems at commercial project sites.
- Install commercial plumbing equipment and piping in accordance with company requirements, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing equipment and piping.
- Lay out and properly install underground plumbing systems.
- Provide accurate as-built drawings to Project Managers.
- Perform and participate in onsite equipment start-ups.
- Maintain accountability for the condition of company tools onsite.
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Field Supervisors to ensure project schedules and client needs are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
