About The Position

System Service & Engineering is seeking a Plumbing Technician to support commercial facilities throughout Northwest Florida. The company provides full-service mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, including maintenance, emergency service, and end-to-end technical building solutions. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems; diagnosing issues; interpreting blueprints and building specifications; ensuring code and safety compliance; conducting preventative maintenance; and responding to emergency calls.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience.
Backflow Certification.
Effective communication skills and a team-first mentality.
Ability to use smart devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications.
Ensure compliance with local and national codes and safety regulations.
Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.
Respond to emergency calls and provide timely solutions.
