About The Position
Amazing Athletes, Karate Zoo & Soccer Stars is seeking energetic, positive, and reliable coaches to work with children ages 2-10. This is a year-round, part-time position with a mostly-mornings schedule, typically 5-10 hours per week. Coaches teach 2-4 short classes per morning, with guaranteed pay for a minimum of two classes. The company provides comprehensive training and a clear path for advancement to Lead and Senior Coach roles. This role offers a flexible schedule, a fun working environment, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives.
Requirements
- Must be great with kids.
- Must be able to pass PA clearances (FBI fingerprint, Child Abuse, State Police).
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift 25-40 lbs of equipment.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Must be energetic, positive, and coachable.
- Must be looking for a LONG TERM part-time position.
- Must be able to work year-round (not seasonal).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in coaching, childcare, sports, or teaching is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach 25-30 minute classes at preschools and recreation centers.
- Run fun, structured activities that build motor skills and confidence.
- Follow the age-appropriate Amazing Athletes curriculum.
- Set up and clean up light equipment.
- Communicate clearly with management and school staff.
- Create a safe, engaging, high-energy environment.
