About The Position

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
• A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• CPR Certification
• Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
• A current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with the Ontario Health atHome.
• Working with patients in-person to provide exceptional nursing services.
• Providing a wide spectrum of services within our fully equipped nursing clinic (i.e. compression therapy, oncology support, hydration management, IV therapy ostomy and wound care, catheter management , etc.).
• Performing other clinical duties as required.
