Linux CNO Developer

Markesman Group•Fort Meade, MD

About The Position

This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Linux-based software capabilities for Computer Network Operations (CNO) missions. The developer will primarily use C/C++ and Python in Linux environments, focusing on low-level operating system functionalities, networking, and system interfaces. The position requires developing and integrating software that interacts with network protocols and operating systems, debugging complex issues, and conducting technical research to meet mission requirements. The developer will also be involved in prototyping, transitioning capabilities to operational support, and collaborating with various technical teams throughout the development lifecycle, including code reviews, configuration management, testing, documentation, and release activities. Support for existing CNO capabilities through troubleshooting and updates is also a key part of the role.
