About The Position
Valley Craft Industries, a company of Ballymore Safety Products founded in 1953 and based in Lake City, MN, is a family-owned company renowned for its manufacturing capabilities and diverse product suite within the material handling, drum handling, and storage solutions space. The company has a strong reputation for producing high-quality metal fabrication products used in industrial and commercial applications. This role is for a driven, energetic, and outgoing CNC Machinist on the 2nd shift to facilitate the production of company products and custom orders.
Requirements
- Experienced in operating of CNC equipment
- Understand how to use basic inspection equipment
- Knowledge of Haas controls and Fanuc controls
- Creative thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in fast paced work environment
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC equipment and do some set ups
- Edit, make offsets and tool changes on CNC equipment
- Select and find tooling required for jobs
- Do in process inspection of parts to print specification
- Make prototypes and medium production runs
- Work on CNC turning and vertical milling centers
